Description

The STARTRENS research project covers life history from fertilization till the end of the first-feeding stage for two species of cleaner fish; Ballan wrasse (Labrus bergylta) and lumpsucker (Cyclopterus lumpus). Experimental studies will provide endpoints such as respiration, dry weight, and C/N ratio, over time. We will perform studies with different types of food to optimise the diet during first-stage feeding.

My role

Using DEB-based models to interpret the data from the experimental work on early-life stages of ballan wrasse and lumpfish.
